How to Solve Deceptive Site Ahead Issue
Deceptive site ahead! Whenever we’ve seen this warning, it means the website we are visiting may be fraudulent or harmful. All most all WordPress users have been facing this issue several times. Now let’s talk about why such a problem happened.
Well, Deceptive site ahead this warning caused by virus. If your website is affected by viruses such as malware, suspicious code, or SQL Injection then Google may flag your website as a deceptive site ahead warning to protect the users of your website. Okay, let’s have a look at how we can overcome this issue.
Well, there are four points but eventually, I’ve called it “Formula Four” to solve deceptive site ahead issue.
1. Verify your website on Google Search Console.
2. Remove Virus/Malware or affected content from your website. I recommend to terminate your hosting and recreate your web page once again.
3. Requesting for a review via Google Search Console.
4. Wait until the problem will solve.
Now we’re going to deeply discuss about the four mentioned point as like, how we can do this.
To verify our website on Google Search Console at 1st we have to visit: https://search.google.com/search-console Then we can see a web page like this. Click on Start now.
And then we can see another web page like this. Write your domain name here as I mentioned the screenshot and click on continue.
Then we will see these option. All we need to do is copy the mentioned code and go to your cPanel.
And then search at the top search bar (Zone Editor) click on the zone editor option.
Click on the arrow option as I mentioned the picture and here you can see add “TXT” record click on it.
Now we can see these above options. Write your domain name in the name section. We don’t need to make any changes to “TTL” section. Type section should be “TXT”. In the record option, we have to paste the code which we’ve copied from the Google Search Console. Now click on Save record.
And then go back to Google Search Console and click on verify. Now here we go.
Well, there are several ways to make your hosting clear from Virus/Malware. But here I recommend to terminate your hosting and recreate your hosting package. If you’re unable to do this, contact your hosting provider and asked them to recreate your hosting account. After recreate our hosting we’re ready enough to submit a review request.
